Welcome!

Your help is needed to make sure the plan represents residents. The next 10-year action plan will only be successful if it reflects what most residents said through surveys, online discussions, and at events. Resident working group members have a unique opportunity to help forge goals, policies, and actions that will turn the community's vision into a reality.

Four resident working groups will meet 4-6 times between January – May 2025. Meetings will mostly take place online with some in-person opportunities. Each working group will use the feedback from residents gathered over the last year to help forge goals, policies and actions about the following topics:

  • Community, parks and recreation, arts and culture, and safety
  • Housing, Development and Transportation
  • Economic Development and Town Finances
  • Environment, Water, and Climate

What is needed from you? Residents in working groups must live in Oro Valley, full or part-time. They must be able to commit 4-6 hours a month to prepare and attend meetings. The number of meetings will vary depending on the number of participants and topic being discussed.  Experience relating to a topic area is encouraged but not required. Please fill out the form to sign up for a resident working group.
