    What do you think OV highest priority related to water use should be and why?

    • Expanding Oro Valley's community water conservation programs even if water user fees may be increased to fund them. 
    • Increasing community awareness about the importance of water conservation.
    • Continuing to reduce the Town's consumption of drinking water by:
      • Banning the use of drinking water for golf course and development related to turf irrigation.
      • Supporting the use of recycled water to augment drinking water supplies.
      • Increasing water conservation requirements for new development, such as plumbing for greywater (water from washing machines, etc.)

    What do you think OV highest priority related to climate and sustainability should be and why?

    • Allowing energy efficient, white rooftops. 
    • Reducing carbon emissions by supporting electric vehicles with more charging stations. 
    • Reducing dependency on vehicles by reducing travel distance between shopping, employment, and housing areas. 
    • Reducing heat island effects through different building materials.
    • Exploring incentives to increase use of solar. 
    • Exploring incentives to increase use of energy efficient appliances. 
    • Reducing heat island effects through landscaping and design.
