Way to go, OV! Whether you responded to the BIG Community Survey, at local events or online, you provided over 8,900 contributions for OV's future. All resident responses create the building blocks for the next 10-year action plan.
The first step in creating the plan is building the draft vision and guiding principles. Both provide high-level views of residents' values, priorities, and aspirations for OV's future. They create the framework for the 10-year plan and guide the goals, policies, and actions that produce real results.
In addition to the draft vision statement, there are 13 guiding principles capturing resident priorities for public safety, the environment, parks, housing, development, water and more! Click HERE to see the draft guiding principles.

Participants must be a full-or-part-time Oro Valley resident
Submissions must be received by September 30, 2024.
Any suggested changes must reflect what most residents identified as their top values or priorities through surveys, online discussions, or at events. These values and priorities are provided in the challenge for your use. Responses that stay true to what most residents said may be incorporated into the draft vision and guiding principles.
All submissions will be entered into a raffle for your chance to win an OV's Path Forward swag bag.
